We bought the tickets!! ahhh!

Well, we just plopped down some whoppin' dollars on plane tickets, so there's no turning back now!

We're leaving June 23rd and won't be back state side till the end of July.

Here we are pushing that magic button...:

WELCOME

Welcome to our blog for the South Africa / Living Musical Project. This is Abigail & Shaun Bengson, and we are a husband & wife artist team. We have been invited by the Market Theater of Johannesburg, South Africa, and our dear director, David Eppel (Williams College, MA, and co-founder of the Market Theater), to come perform and teach in South Africa in July, 2009.

While we are there we will be cataloguing our experiences right here at bengsons.blogspot.com. Furthermore, our friends Jim Farley & David Brush, of the Encore Theater Company of Dayton, OH, will be using these postings to construct a living and changing musical based off of our adventures.

We invite you to read and respond to our journaling, preview the musical as it takes shape, and join us on our adventures in Capetown, Johannesburg, Grahamstown, and the surrounding country.
